She has always received roses that were red or reddish, but I want to just send a message of support, not romantic love.

I would suggest a change of pace from flowers. It is nice of you to think of your friend, so rather than remind her of what he had given her, go for a box of candy or even a small cake you can get at any grocery store and have hearts drawn in the icing. You might even include gift certificates to a theater or pizzeria.

The best thing you can send is a small talking toy, and if you find one that says something funny or cute or both, and pocket size Bible. This would be more appropriate, including a card expressing your feeling.





If the person have a computer or/and email address you can send a 123 yahoo greeting card, but most of all assure your friendship by letting the person know that you will keep her in your prayers.

Although my last boyfriend's mother believes anything yellow is bad luck, so nothing she owns is yellow, and nothing yellow is allowed in her house. So as long as your friend likes the color yellow, I think yellow roses are a wonderful gift.
