How do I make Hershey's Kisses roses?

Ok, I've seen them before, and I know you wrap 2 Kisses in colored plastic wrap, BUT do I use glue? How do I close the plastic wrap? How do I attach it to the stem, glue? What's the stem made from? See, I'm really interested in making them for my wedding favors/centerpieces. Thanks for all the detailed help!!! :) Oh yea, and how long do you think the chocolate will last?!? I don't want to hand out yucky chocolate, nor do I want to make 200 roses the week of my wedding!!! :)

They should keep well for an extended period of time as long as you don't let them get hot enough to melt. Keep them in a cool room or in an airconditioned environment.
Reply:The average shelf life of chocolate is 1 year if kept in a cool, dry setting. To cut down on the work, make if a favor party! Make copies of the directions and set up stations for each group, or have groups working on different parts of the assembly. Invite bridesmaids and/or other female friends and serve fun finger foods and tea/punch. Put in some good music and it won't take any time at all! Oh, and try using some of the different types of kisses that are out now. They come in different colors of foil wrapping (like dark choc in purple, strawberry and cream in pink and silver stripe) or use the Hershey hugs (white and milk choc swirl).
Reply:The Oriental Trading Company has kits that you can buy that come with all the pieces you need, including the kisses. If they are too costly look closely at the picture on their web site, they used green pipe cleaner wires and silk leaves, they are really sweet.

need: (1) Floral tape (2) Stem is long metal sticks cut in half with wire cutter. (3) Silk flower leafs. (4) Red roll of the gift basket paper. Twist the floral tape around the metal sticks, place silk leaf on the top floral tape around to keep in place stick the, cover the kiss's with plastic, floral tape the end of plastic to cover and keep in place.
