Can anyone tell me when to cut roses to get cuting from roses?

the rose are call knock roses . i live in the slouth alabama

Can anyone tell me when to cut roses to get cuting from roses?
im not sure where to cut them but you will need special powder so it will regrow its roots when you plant it
Reply:I dont know exactly what powder it would be, just a rooting powder because it contains plant hormones that will stimulate the rose to regrow its roots Report It

Reply:Usually in mid summer, cutting root hormones and keep in a very humid condition (under misters, in a rooting box.....something). By fall the cutting should have enough roots to resist being pulled from the soil. Transplant into a pot and over winter in a cold frame, plant out the next spring.
