Will it kill my roses? Or is there a special kind of weed killer I can use?
Can I use weed killer on the weeds next to my roses?
I have successfully sprayed roundup on weeds very near my roses. But, I make sure the day is very, very calm (not even a breeze) and I keep the nozzle of the sprayer close to the weeds and keep the pressure in the sprayer low. As the above answer says, you must be very careful but it can be done.
Reply:Yes! Just be careful you don't spray the rose bush. I do it all the time. but am very careful.
Reply:Wrap newspaper (or other) around your rose bush. Then "paint" the weed killer onto the weeds, let it dry before taking off the newspaper.
