What is the average price of roses?

What is the average price of a bouquet of a dozen red roses?

What is the average price of roses?
A lot depends on where you live. The bigger the town, the more price competition there will be among the sellers of roses. The time of purchase, quality, color, type, and packaging of the roses will also affect the price. A dozen low quality long stem red roses wrapped in a tissue paper bouquet can be purchased for about $20.00 in most supermarkets in my area of the USA at this time. A dozen long stem high quality red roses in a box costs about $50.00 from local florists. All bets are off at Valentine's Day as supply and demand, along with a little price gouging, push the price through the ceiling. The same roses may cost between $60.00 and $120.00.

Good luck with your search for reasonably priced roses.
Reply:pends on the time of the year and what kind of roses they are (long stem short, what kind of red rose etc....) I have seen them as low as $20 and as high as $200 (Valentines day) but average I think is $30.
Reply:i think about 50 bucks
Reply:It all depends on how much trouble your in. If you are late all the time and never call $50.00 . Come home drunk $75.00. Don't come home at all Priceless.
