Tips for helping white roses last longer?

anyone have any at home sort of things that will help white roses last longer? mine usually die pretty quickly. i know to cut the tips diagonally under running water and change the water/recut tips every other day, but that's about it.





if anyone had some tips it would be awesome.

Yes cut the stems then I use sugar in the water, my flowers all kinds, usually last about 2 weeks.
Reply:Don't pick'em!!
Reply:Dip them in wax.
Reply:Pour a little bit of 7up in the water, and make sure the water isn't covering most of the stems because they will rot and die faster that way. (works for any color) : )
