I want to plant some ground cover roses....but it seems I can't find any around. Went to Navalet's in Fremont and of course Lowe's and Home Depot, but none really to be found? Should they not be planted at this time?

I think the reason you are having trouble finding roses is that the time for planting is past. Usually roses are planted bare-root in January or February when they are dormant. In May many roses have already started to bloom.

Reply:Now is the best time. Spring time. Roses are very hardy and last for years. Try a regular Nursery if Lowes or HD don't carry them. I just planted some and the have lots of buds already.
